I'm just very happy now!

The progress of gamedev was more than 80% today.
After then, I created `itch.io` account and test uploaded it.
Playing was good ! But Debug logs scrolling in Chrome's Developer tool. Because forgot to erase debug print .
I have seem to get little tasks...
I think release this game tomorrow, If I can.
I'm so excited !

Did you remember that I wrote about releasing tiny game.
It has been six days later.
I thought that the progess in that day had been 70%.
And I think that the progess now is still 70%.
Of course, Everyday I working on gamedev as you know.
What the happened ! It looks like something ... The Backrooms.
I'm starting to get confused about difficulty setting. So I will relese the game when the progress reachs to 80%.
If only I could.

Today, I added some sound effects. I realized that sound files don't provide informations like image files. There is no thumbnail, just file name.
those were problems when I searching good SFX. And then renaming file name, I overlooked the directory place of a sound file.

I thinked that sound files need thumbnail just like a album cover or they need to display sound's waveform.
Probably there is a nice management tool for sound files that I don't know.
I plan to stay awake for all today.

Today I made three enemy characters in my tiny game. As I wrote here, Drawing something takes time for me. Drawing imagine monster was harder than drawing a pigeon.
They have a feature action. I haven't named these monsters yet. If you have good idea, please tell me. But how to tell me ...? Uhhhn coming soon!!



I added more effects, logic and a title scene. Completion is right next to!

Honestly, I don't have any jokes for 04-01. I wanted to decorate this website or create something... .
A bit of a strange thing that I won a gamecharacter in doing mobile game.
Because this year's fortune telling (That's said "omikuji") told me that your wish will not come true. But to be. uhhn...cause April Fools' Day maybe!
Of cource, I'v worked on gamedev today too.

It's hard to identify dot of apostrophe. I have thinked backquote is true, but everyone normaly using single colon for apostorophe. When writing by a pen, I can identify, but PC fonts looks like same.
Anyway I will using single colon as apostrophe from today.
And two notices.
First, I'm going to Major renovation this website. because of increasing "Broken English Diary" posts.
Second, I will release tiny game that apper a pigeon. Almost features were implemented. Just drawing pixel art. I haven't decided where to release it yet.

I`m bad at drawing illust, my drawing takes time.
Today I drew a pixel pigeon to be player character. It took 5 hours and so tired. If I hadn`t used Aseprite, it would have taken very much longer. Thanks super tool! I love Aseprite.
Let`s Get back to topic, I felt drawing pigeon is difficult.
Pigeon looks like simple shape and familiar. But thats make me confuse to drawing within pixelate.
I`ve drawn seagull like bird, Mochi, chimera being mixed pigeon`s head and and squirrel`s tail ... , Finaly I drew a pigeon!
The good point of pixel art is well working with copy and paste. I made animation frames within 30 minutes per 1 motion.
Now My eyes are twitching with feeling of satisfaction.

Today, I`v been starting small gamedev.
I always use Godot reason why is hassle to chose gameengine among somany options.
My first gameengine was DXLib on C++. that exprience made me interested for program design. I had thinked that had been good choice.
Then I started using the Unity. but I was confused because I couldn`t understand why drawing those images, where is loading and unloading texture, and How refer other class fails whthout magic "#include".
After, I atempted from lower level gameengine to high level gameengine.
And then one day, I realized ... whatever!
Anyway I`m tired reserching about gameengine, so I`m only using Godot now.
I don`t care good and bad points about Godot. I could say same for Every gameengine.
Right now I just want to finish the tiny game!

I have caught a cold that I could`t move about 2 dyas. Now, I`m better than before.
I don`t know why, but I have a one reason that I was sweating outside then my body became cold. I sholud have wiped off sweat or changing my clothes.
